Naming the agent on the filing
The registered agent's name and address are entered directly on the Public Records Filing and become part of the public record. Many owners who work from home use a commercial registered agent service to keep a residential address off the state's records.
If your registered agent resigns or moves, update the filing promptly. Notices delivered to an outdated address are still treated as valid service on the LLC.
