How to start an LLC in Indiana
Indiana runs almost all of its business filings through one portal, INBiz, which also connects to the Department of Revenue and the Department of Workforce Development. Form the LLC through INBiz, register for state taxes on the same platform if you need a BT-1, and remember that Indiana asks for a report only once every two years rather than annually. That biennial rhythm is convenient until you lose track of the exact month it falls due, which is the single most common way an otherwise well run Indiana LLC ends up administratively dissolved.
