Appoint your Wyoming registered agent
Wyoming's registered agent rules are set out in its Registered Offices and Agents Act, and they are more specific than in many states.
The statutory requirements
Your LLC must continuously maintain a registered agent with a physical street address in Wyoming. Post office boxes and mail drop boxes are expressly not sufficient. The agent must be generally present at that address during normal business hours to accept service of process, and must have consented to the appointment.

Most owners use a commercial agent
Because the vast majority of Wyoming LLC owners do not live in Wyoming, a commercial registered agent is the normal route. Annual costs are modest. Choose one that scans and forwards documents quickly, because a missed service of process can produce a default judgment against your company.
If your agent resigns and you do not appoint a replacement, the Secretary of State can administratively dissolve the LLC.
