Arizona calls a registered agent a statutory agent. Every LLC must continuously maintain one at a physical Arizona address, and that address later decides whether you have to publish a newspaper notice.
Who can act as statutory agent
The statutory agent is an individual Arizona resident or a business entity authorised to transact business in Arizona, with a physical street address in the state. A PO box alone does not qualify. The agent must sign the Statutory Agent Acceptance form confirming they agree to the role.
