How to start an LLC in Arizona
Arizona is one of the few states where an LLC has no annual report and no recurring state fee once it is formed. The trade-off is a one-time step most states do not have: unless your statutory agent's address is in Maricopa or Pima county, you must publish notice of the new LLC in an approved newspaper within 60 days of approval. Miss that and the Commission can administratively dissolve the LLC. This guide walks through naming, the statutory agent, filing the Articles of Organization, the EIN and bank account, state tax registration, and what little ongoing compliance Arizona does require.
